"Pause!"

My little grandson, Martin, learns a lot about how things operate through his normal daily activities. like most 5-years olds these days, he knows how a VCR functions, and can put on his favourite videos all by himself.
One day, I heard him playing tag(otherwise known as "catching") with his elder brothers. Suddenly, nature called and he needed to go. Pleading desperately with his brothers to stop the game temporarily, I heard him cry out frantically, "Pause! Pause! Pause!"



"Undo!"

My 9-years old granson, Russell, on the other hand, is more "sophisticated" in his daily operation of things. He was doing his school work the other day when he found he'd mada a major mistake. Reaching for an eraser, I heard him muttering to himself, "I wish there was 'Undo'!".
